What is this?

So, I was in the Basin the other day and came across something that looks like a hatch.  When I moused over it I saw some odd looking numbers in the tool tip and do not have a clue what it is I actually ran across.  I am hoping maybe one of you know what this is.

    I got the following response from WoW.com to my question:

    "Gene-

    It's a reference to the 'hatch' from the TV show LOST. The numbers in-game correspond to the infamous 'numbers' on the show, though the game's numbers are all 1 higher than the show's numbers. e.g. the show is 4/8/15/16/23/42, in game is 5/9/16/17/24/43. Thanks!
